Le Sommet de la Francophonie - I was lucky enough to be "agent de liaison" for the Cote d'Ivoire delegation. A whole week surrounded by people from Africa. You know that for them the boss is always 'le patron' and friends are 'grand frere'. Apart from the funny things, apart from being always 'on the run' as you never know what they can ask for or what they plan ahead, I had a wonderful week. I admired their sense of rhythm and 'joie de vivre', I admired their sensitivity and subtle irony, I admired their pride, dignity and sense of belonging to a special nation. They were all like a big family, happy to be abroad and grateful for what they were receiving and giving back in return what they could. I started to have a passion for their clothes and jwellery and I even planned as a secret dream to go and visit Cote d'Ivoire.
